VSNA 2006 Convention 2006 VSNA convention is proposed to be held in Cruise through Florida chapter. Dear BOD, As you know, we started working on VSNA 2006 convention. During our Maryland 600 convention, we announced that we will be planning for 2006 convention on Cruise. We spent lots of time and performed the following: 1. We discussed in BOD meeting during July 4th and it is unanimously voted for Cruise convention. 2. We conducted survey of VSNA members during MD convention. We received endorsement by 90% of people who participated in survey. 3. It was also discussed in last BOR meeting and it is unanimously endorsed. 4. We formed a special task force and worked on it. Please see the details about the task force, timelines, and Team members at the bottom of this email. After lots of negotiations, the SWAT team recommends going forward with Cruise idea. The details of the proposal is posted on our website. Define high Level "Program Content" that is appropriate for VSNA Cruise 2006. 2. Evaluate the Quotations from "Travel Agencies" and Select the "Travel Agency". 3. Develop "Marketing Program" and Launch "VSNA Cruise 2006". Timeline: 1. The above first two deliverables due on 10/14/05 2. Item #3 is due by 12/15/05 Selected SWAT Team members: 1. Dr. Somashekhar Palegar: Current VSNA Florida Chapter President. He will lead the VSNA Cruise 2006. This convention will be held through Florida Chapter. 2. Mrs.Jayashree Jagadeesh: She has demonstrated strong Leadership as a "Chairperson of Maryland 600 Convention". She can help, guide VSNA Cruise 2006. 3. Mr.Jayadev: BOD Director and actively contributed to the success of Atlanta VSNA Convention. He has experience in Cruise as a customer. 4. Mr.HCN Swamy: Representative of BOR. He has lots of experience with VSNA conventions, activities. He brings BOR views into the team. 5. Mr.Pappur Shankar: Representative of BOR. He has lots of experience with VSNA conventions, activities. He brings BOR views into the team. 6. Dr. Nagabhushana Malakkla: Current VSNA President of CA - Central Chapter. He will be our spokesperson from West Coast. 7. Mr.Basavaraj Patil: Current VSNA President of Texas Chapter. He will be our spokesperson from Mid South. 8. VSNA Office Bearers: By dafault VSNA officers are part of this team.
